Volunteers Needed for the Torrance Criterium

We need your help! This year’s Torrance Criterium is on May 18, so it’s time to step up and volunteer! This bike race is our primary fundraiser for the year.
We need help starting now with sponsorship recruiting. There are multiple levels of sponsorships available. For more information on sponsorship levels, download the sponsor sell sheet: http://peninsulacc.com/images/sponsor sell sheet 3-6-14.pdf.
Other tasks we need help with over the upcoming months include: race card distribution at bicycle races (x4 volunteers), flyer delivery to course businesses (x2), tow-away notification placement on cars parked on the course (x1), and course sweeping (x6).
On race day we need help with: course marshals (x10), race registration (x5), prize coordination (x2), event setup (x6) and event cleanup (x6).
Putting on a race this size requires the concerted effort of a large team. We need your help to make this race successful. Any effort you can make will be greatly appreciated.

Setup is one hour (6-7AM)
Course Marshall is five hours (7-12PM and 12-5PM)
Clean-up is one hour (4-5PM) - might be 4:30-5:30PM
Course sweeping is about 2-3 hours the day before (until we lose the light)
